The Minister for Commerce and the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Companies, Pastor Micha Ondo Bile, met on the morning of 6th March with ambassadors from Brazil and Cuba, Evaldo Freire and Rodobaldo RaA�l Isasa Herrera, respectively, to analyse issues regarding cooperation in the commerce sector. The Brazilian Ambassador issued the minister with an invitation to attend in his country the meeting of CPLP Commerce ministers.
Evaldo Freire indicated that the meeting of Commerce ministers from the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) will be held in Brazil on 13th March, and that Pastor Micha Ondo Bile is invited.
During the audience, they also looked at the matters to be debated at the meeting, and the possibility of cooperation between Brazil and Equatorial Guinea in the sectors of service, commerce, support and professional training in industry, and trade and support for small and medium-sized companies.
Equatorial Guinea and Brazil have cooperate in a large number of areas, and to consolidate this, the ambassador said that they must insist on strengthening shipping and air routes, in order to facilitate commerce between the two countries.
Another of the aspects covered was the development of agriculture in our country with Brazilian cooperation.
The audience with the Cuban Ambassador was a courtesy meeting. The Cuban diplomat congratulated the minister on his appointment, and they exchanged impressions regarding their own professional experiences in relation to Cuba, as Micha Ondo Bile was Minister for Foreign Affairs.
With the Minister for Commerce we have always had good contact, from the training of human resources, to the treatment of multilateral issues of interest, both in the commerce area and through collaboration in diverse areas of trade”, declared Rodobaldo RaA�l Isasa Herrera.
