The head of Mines and Hydrocarbons, Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima, took part in the “O&G Meeting Day”, the second international event on oil and liquid natural gas organised by the Stier Group, from 22nd to 23rd March.
At the invitation of Antonio Morales Mendez, president of Gran Canaria Council, the minister Mbega Obiang Lima gave a presentation on the history of oil and gas in Equatorial Guinea, and showed the range of projects that his ministry planned to execute. To do that he invited Canaries companies and businessmen to invest in our country and exchange experiences.
The minister also visited Casa Africa, where he was received by the director general, Luis Padron, who showed him the activities they carry out with African countries in general, and with Equatorial Guinea in particular, highlighting the recent celebration of the vis a vis cultural project in Malabo.
After the interview, the minister thanked the director of Casa Africa for the meeting, which was also attended by the Director General for Relations with Africa from the Canaries Government, Pablo Martin-Carbajal; the Presidential Adviser in matters of Hydrocarbons, Fidel Obama; the Equatorial Guinea Consul General in the Canaries, Emerenciana Mangue Obiang Esidang, and leaders from the Stier Group, among others.
