On 4th April, the Equatoguinean Child Support Committee Educational Centre (CANIGE), held an important meeting led by the first vice-president of the committee, Eulalia Envo Bela, representing the honorary president of the centre, the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang.
The aim of the activities undertaken by the First Lady is that all Equatoguinean children enjoy good health, together with aiding the most vulnerable layers of society in general.
“CANIGE is holding out its hands to take in the needy”, stated Envo Bela during the event, and handed over the 29,090,000 Franco CFA to fifteen families that in the past registered their files in order to ask the committee for aid.
The representative of the First Lady also explained to the recipients of the aid that, once the health of their children had improved, they must report that to the committee.
For their part, they expressed their gratitude to the Doctor Honoris Causa in Social Sciences.
