The Vice-Minister for Information, Press and Radio, Virgilio Seriche Riloha,and the two Secretaries of State, Charged with Information, Press and Radio, Miguel Antonio Obiang Avoro and Jose Mba Obama Bendomo, were officially introduced to the director generals and heads of areas at the ministry, at a meeting overseen by the head of department, Eugenio Nze Obiang. The meeting took place at the headquarters in Malabo II, on Monday 12th of this month.
The minister Nze Obiang, satisfied with the strengthening of the governing team at the ministry, asked for a redoubling of efforts in order to continue to comply with the working plan drawn up for each yearly period. He also asked the new post holders to listen to concerns and study the proposals of their subordinates, as their opinions can contribute, to a large extent, to the development of the sectors making up the institution, and the implementation of its projects.
With respect to the director generals and section heads, the minister urged them to respect the hierarchy, and to study the Law on State Civil Servants and Administrative Procedures, as with these basic legal instruments they will be able to better perform their duties.
For their part, the new members of the team thanked the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, for the responsibilities granted to them, and declared their willingness to make a contribution to the growth of the department.
The introduction of the new appointees to the staff at the ministry in the near future, and the holding of quarterly executive council meetings, were some of the other resolutions made in the meeting room at the headquarters, in Malabo II.
