On 6th March the district of Nsork received the presidential couple on their tour of the nation.
H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, arrived in Nsork, the third district in the province of Wele Nzas, after visiting AAisok and Mongomo.
With the presentation of a statue of an elephant to the President Founder of the PDGE, the mayor of Nsork wished him strength and power in order to continue to steer the historic destiny of our country.
For its part, the people of Nsork renewed their unswerving loyalty to the PDGE, and congratulated the presidential couple on their golden wedding celebrated on 12th December 2018, and for the success of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Independence and the VI Table for National Dialogue.
The President began his speech by paying homage to Brother Militant, Eusebio Ondo Oyono, a native of Nsork, who recently passed away.
“There are many African countries that long for peace, because they are at war”, declared the Head of State, inviting the population to defend the peace that reigns in Equatorial Guinea.
The President also gave a brief outline of the history of Africa, from slavery, through colonial domination, to neo-colonialism and other practices that the West wishes to continue in the African continent in order to control its resources.
“There is no reason to worry about the colour of our skin. The progress in Equatorial Guinea is the result of the Equatoguineans themselves”, he added. Juvenile delinquency and drug addiction were once again condemned by the President, when he invited parents in families to fight against this social scourge.
