After the start of the campaign in Malabo, the distribution of toys by the Second Vice President of the Republic has now come to the Continental Region. Bata was the first stop on this special tour, which Nguema Obiang Mangue himself wanted to lead.
The distribution of toys began of Tuesday afternoon, December 23, in the Asonga area of the city. The Second Vice President for Defense and Security of the State of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang Mangue Nguema, accompanied by officials from his cabinet and members of the Association Sons of Obiang (ASHO), personally led the campaign to distribute toys, bringing joy to the children of the city. The event was also attended by the Minister of Information, Press and Radio, Teobaldo Nchaso Matomba, as well as numerous national and international media.
This program and humanitarian gesture has as its main purpose the support of all the children of the nation. Therefore, all the little ones were able to collect a lot of toys, cars and dolls, even planes, motorbikes, helicopters and many others.
Also, during the ceremony many of the mothers wanted to introduce “Santa Obiang Mangue” to their children, especially those who need special support. All these mothers also took the opportunity to thank the Second Vice President for his humanitarian gesture.
Nguema Obiang, in his interview with the media that attended the event, explained that the purpose of this act is to demonstrate how he feels about children, and that he is committed to all Equatorial Guinean children having their gift because the campaign will reach all districts and municipalities.
Also on Tuesday, the distribution campaign reached the Regional Hospital of Bata, the Medical Center of La Paz, and some points inland.
