On 17th April, Agriculture, Livestock, forests and the Environment, and Education, University teaching and Sports, were the ministries in which the Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, oversaw the acts to hand over offices between outgoing and incoming ministers.
The first act for Obama Asue was at Agriculture, Livestock, Forests and the Environment, the ministry where Pedro Ondo Nguema, the outgoing Vice-Minister, passed on his powers to the incoming Vice-Minister, Santiago Francisco Nguema Osono, under Decrees 36 and 37, of 12th April.
JesA�s Engonga Ndong, outgoing Minister for Education, University Teaching and Sports, handed over his office to Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene, the new holder of the portfolio.
The outgoing and incoming ministers gave their respective speeches and all expressed gratitude to the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
The words of advice from the Prime Minister directed at the incoming ministers formed the final part of the ceremonies, in which Obama Asue once again insisted on the need to work as a team, with order and discipline, through a fair sharing out of functions, while always respecting the hierarchy.
