On Wednesday 29th April, the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, oversaw the Second Meeting of the National Coordination Commission for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Equatorial Guinea. The aim of the meeting was to seek solutions to the crisis caused by COVID-19.
National Social Protection System and support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), and the creation of the COVID-19 National Emergency Fund, which will be managed by the National Coordination Commission for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Equatorial Guinea.
Previously the commission organised meetings with the various ministerial departments, in which they debated the programmes, activities and budgets from the respective ministries; in addition, the governance structure was defined, in addition to the management mechanisms for the resources of the COVID-190 National Emergency Fund.
The meeting was attended by members of the Government, including the heads of the ministerial portfolios of Finance, Industry and Justice, together with representatives from the Senate and Civil Society.
