Obama Asue holds meetings at Social Affairs, Trade, and Fishing

On 30th October, the ministries of Social Affairs and Gender Equality, Trade and the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Businesses, and Fishing and Water Resources , received the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, within the framework of the visits he has been making since Tuesday 23rd to all ministerial departments, and which will end on the continental part of the country, where Obama Asue will meet personnel from the Government delegations.

After passing on congratulations from the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, to the officials, and following a reading of the decree through which Spain granted definitive independence to Equatorial Guinea, Obama Asue focussed on passing on instructions and advice from the President of the Republic given during the latest session of the Council of Ministers.

Regarding corruption, Obama Asue insisted on the duty to control and increase current account income to the departments, and asked for respect for the working timetable, punctuality and permanence in posts, in order to revitalise our administration.

The message of congratulations for members of the Government, senior officials and officials for their participation in the parade to mark the 50th Anniversary of Independence was received with an enthusiastic ovation.
