The Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, held the working meeting with the executive from the Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Planning.
The Prime Minister’s meeting with the executive from the Ministry for Finance took place on the afternoon of 29th November, at the ministerial headquarters. The head of department, Lucas Abaga Nchama, attended the extraordinary meeting.
During the meeting, there was a reading of the Decree from the Presidency of the Government, through which specific functions within their fields of action are assigned to members of the Government making up the ministry, such that each one will exercise the role of deputy coordinator for the ministerial action plan.
Obama Asue said that this decision would improve control over State income and spending, contribute towards the streamlining of the administrative process, and will consolidate the strategy of economic development for the country in order to continue to make progress with compliance with the Horizonte 2020 National Economic and Social Development Plan.
The growth and management of the national economy are vital in order to guarantee compliance with the action plan designed by the Government, said the Prime Minister, and or that reason its members must work in a coordinated way with the advisers designated to each sector at the Ministry for Finance.
The Minister for Public Administration and Administrative Reform, Faustino Ndong Esono Eyang, also attended the meeting.
