Obama Asue meets Ministry for Culture executive

On the afternoon of 13th February, the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, held an advisory meeting with personnel from the Ministry for Culture, Tourism and Craft promotion, led by the head of department, Rufino Ndong Esono Nchama.

Obama Asue called for respect for the administrative hierarchy, together with adherence to legal regulations and the acquisition of a high level of knowledge regarding them, as only in that way could effective work be carried out.

The issue of corruption, severely criticised by Obama Asue, was also covered at the meeting. Regarding this, the prime Minster warned that an audit was planned for the ministry in order to prevent the misuse of public funds.

In his words of advice, Obama Asue invited both the executive and the body of officials to a “clean slate and fresh start” in order to work together as children of the same homeland, practising mutual respect and discipline, while he also invited the General Secretary of the department to rigorously coordinate the services provided by personnel.
