The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, has inspected various ministerial departments in order to check on the installation of the new members of the Government, during Monday 26th February.
The reason for these prompt inspections was to see first hand the installation of the new Government team in their new offices, and at the same time get to know the problems in each department. The aim of the visits by the Prime Minister was to find out about the problems affecting some ministerial departments. The ministries visited on Monday morning were those of Work, Agriculture, Fishing, Finance in the Economy section, Justice, Gender Equality, Commerce, Industry, Telecommunications in the New Technologies section, Civil Aviation, Foreign Affairs, and Health and Social Welfare.
During the visit Obama Asue found out about the problems at each department, and in some he instructed the heads of each sector so that, through the Ministry for Public Works, they send a list of the defects from their respective ministries. The cracks, leaks, lifts, breakdowns, lack of water and means of transport, among others, were some of the problems presented before the Prime Minister during his inspections.
