Obama Asue receives delegation from Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, has received a delegation from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, led by the Minister for Foreign Relations, which is on an official visit to our country, on 20th February.

The aim of the meeting was to cover matters regarding cooperation, which will be looked at and analysed at the next meeting of the Mixed Commission.

The Prime Minister commented on the elements to take into account in the conversations between the two parties, such as the creation of the first action calendar to bring about the conclusions that are adopted.

Representatives from the ministries for Health; Finance, the Economy and Public Investment; Transport, the Postal Service and Telecommunications; Culture and Tourism; Foreign Affairs; Education, University Teaching and Sports; and Mines and Hydrocarbons, also attended the meeting.

At the end of the meeting the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare offered a lunch for the delegation, before they returned to their country.
