Delegations invited to the IV Edition of the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea 2018 Prize, the award ceremony for which took place on 30th March in the city of Sipopo, at the Palace of Conferences.
From the early hours of the morning on Friday, the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, was at Malabo International Airport to receive senior delegations.
H. E. Faure Gnassingbe, President of Togo, was the first to arrive in Malabo, accompanied by some members of his Government, and was received by the Prime Minister, in representation of the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
After a short rest in the hall of honour in the Presidential Pavilion, the statesman from Togo had time to return the greetings from the colony from this African country resident in Malabo.
Then the plane landed which was carrying the President of Ghana, H. E. Nana Akufo Addo, leading the delegation from his country who arrived to attend the work of the IV edition of the prize.
Furthermore, the Gabonese Vice-President, Pierre Claver Manganga Moussavou, and his entourage, were also received by Obama Asue.
Before being taken to Sipopo, both delegations exchanged their first impressions with the Prime Minster.
