On the evening of 12th June the official dinner took place to mark the 54th African Development Bank (AfDB) Annual Assembly, which is taking place in the City of the African Union, Sipopo.
Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, representing the Head of State and Government, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, said a few words to mark the occasion, followed by the special dinner that the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, offered the guests taking part in the annual assembly.
The dinner took place in the La Gaviota restaurant in Sipopo, and was attended by various guests of honour, including the AfDB General Secretary, Vicent Nmehielle, representing the president of the banking institution, the Nigerian Akinwimi Adesina; the Minister for Finance, the Economy and Planning, Cesar Augusto Mba Abogo, as host of the event; in addition to representatives from AfDB member countries, members of the Equatoguinean Government and representatives from diplomatic missions.
During this dinner, the Prime Minister was accompanied by the First Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Education, University teaching and Sports, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene.
