Wang Yi, the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday, January 14, arrived in Malabo after making a brief tour of the city of Bata. The Minister is on a tour of some of the African States with which the country has greater cooperation.
Upon his arrival at the airport in Malabo, Wang Yi was received by senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by its Vice Minister, Victoriana Nchama Nsue Okomo.
The main event during his stay in the Equatorial Guinean capital was the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Department of Foreign Affairs, which is precisely a donation from the People’s Republic of China.
In this African tour, Wang Yi previously visited Kenya, Sudan and Cameroon. Before returning to his country, he will also visit the Democratic Republic of Congo.
