One Belt One Road ministerial conference

The conference took place in the city of Suzhou, in the People’s Republic of China, with the participation of over ninety countries. Equatorial Guinea was represented by a senior delegation from the Ministry for Mines and Hydrocarbons, led by Santiago Mba Eneme Nsuga, Secretary of State from the ministerial department

One of the aims of the conference was to unify efforts between developed and developing countries in order to guarantee the supply of energy, faced with the huge challenges of demographic population increase, calculated at 35% for 2040, and the use of new technologies in order to boost renewable clean energy in order to protect the environment.
