A university masters in Humanistic and Social Studies has been launched within the Faculty of Humanities and Religious Sciences at the National University of Equatorial Guinea in Bata.
The dean of the faculty, Fernando Ignacio Ondo Ndjeng, oversaw the act in the presence of the course coordinators; the Director of the Higher Institute for Educational Sciences (ISCE) from Alicante, BegoAa Gomez; the Director of Academic Planning, Juan Antonio Gallardo, and the Director of International Relations from the same Spanish academic institution, Dolores PeAa, among other figures.
Following words of introduction from the dean, the ISCE Director said that all university, academic or intellectual projects must be rooted in science, which is nothing more than the search for and promotion of truth through research and teaching.
Juan Antonio Gallardo, for his part, revealed that this master is an official qualification from the Abat Oliba CEU University in Barcelona, and provides advanced academic training in the field of humanistic, philosophical and theological training.
The current course, the first at the National University of Equatorial Guinea, allows the studying of the masters focussing on the thoughts of St Thomas Aquinas.
