On Tuesday 28th May, in the conference hall in Beijing, opening ceremony took place for the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
The main aim of this fair is to promote and inject fresh energy into the global economy, and to improve the level of development in global trade in services.
The event, which will take place over five days, will bring together representatives from over 130 countries and 21 international organisations, with 98 delegations from the Belt and Route for International Cooperation, which seeks to connect various nations through the building of infrastructures and commercial, financial and cultural ties. The country taking part as guest of honour this year is the Kingdom of Thailand.
The opening ceremony was attended by the First Secretary, Camilo Ochaga Esono Afana, representing the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Embassy in the People’s Republic of China.
