Opening of work at XXIV session of OPDAD

On Sunday 9th February, the 24th Assembly of the Organisation of African First ladies for Development (OPDAD) took place in Addis Abeba behind closed doors, in order to clarify and debate the points from the latest assembly held in Niamey (Niger), on 7th and 8th July 2019, in which various First Ladies took part, among other representatives.

During the work, the delegation led by Maria Consuelo Nguema Oyana, accompanied by Justino Obama Nve, represented Constancia Mangue de Obiang.

The deliberations were overseen by the First Lady of Sierra Leone, H. E. Fatima Maada Bio. Furthermore, the session will continue to Monday 10th February, in the same hall at the former African Union building.
