The General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, accompanied by his deputy, Jesusa Obono Engono, granted an audience on 25th October to the accredited Ambassador from Morocco to our country. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the PDGE National Office in Malabo II.
The audience between Osa Osa Ecoro and Ghoulam Maichane took place within the excellent relations of friendship, cooperation and good understanding that have always characterised the ties that have for decades united the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the Kingdom of Morocco, both at a Government level and between their respective peoples, the fruit of the vision and political wisdom of their leaders, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the then King of Morocco, Hassan II, which laid the foundations for what has transpired in this fruitful relationship, which has extended to various fields of development in our country, such as education, health, defence and agriculture.
The PDGE General Secretary and the Ambassador from Morocco agreed in expressing their desire and willingness to continue working so that relations of cooperation and friendship between the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and Morocco grow more solid and extend to other areas of bilateral interest, and also extend at a level of political parties that share similar ideologies with the PDGE.
