The autonomous bodies and companies with a State holding, together with the private business sector, took part in the popular parade which took place on the Promenade on 12th October.
The autonomous bodies and companies with a State holding were the first to parade past the tribune of honour and the President of the Republic. They all paraded as a block, with banners identifying them and congratulating the Head of State and the people of Equatorial Guinea for the 50th Anniversary of Independence.
Ceiba; Segesa; Gecotel; Gepetrol; Centramed and Gitge, among others, paraded with their managing Directors and chiefs at the front, and a selection of workers from each company.
For their part, companies from the private business sector paraded in the same way, identifying their companies and dedicating messages of congratulations to the head of State and the Equatoguinean people.
Companies from the banking sector: BGFI Bank, Ecobank, Bange; from the construction sector: Somagec, Abayak; from the telecommunications sector: Muni, Gecomsa, Getesa; hotels such as 3 de Agosto, and companies such as Sonavi or Kitea, paraded in a festive atmosphere, which contributed towards the success of the day.
