A mission from the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), led by the General Secretary, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, landed on 4th February in Ankara, the Turkish capital, with the aim of holding important meetings with the political party of the Turkish Government: the AK Party.
The meetings, which began today, were held with the delegation made up of Cevdet Yilmaz (President of Foreign Relations); Afif Demirkiran (Vice-President of Foreign Relations) and Ruhi Acikgoz (AK Party Representative in Brussels). During the meetings the PDGE delegation was able to exchange first impressions, and speak about a possible cooperation agreement between the two parties, which they will try to ratify during the visit.
The trip is a huge step with respect to the foreign relations of the PDGE, and for that reason, the General Secretary was accompanied by Metodio Sehe Nsi Bindang, Special Adviser to the National Office; Diosdado Bengono Mba Nchama, Head of the Department of International Relations in the party; Juan Nguema Eyene, Deputy Head of the Cabinet, and Pergentino Owono Nchama, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations.
