The General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, accompanied by his deputy, Jesusa Obono Engono, has received Ambassador from the of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Ton Chol Ho, at the party headquarters in Malabo.
During the audience, they spoke about matters related to the activities to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Independence for the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, on 12th October.
In his statement to the press, the North Korean diplomat, after his meeting with Osa Osa Ecoro, confirmed the attendance of a delegation from his country at the celebration of Independence Day in Equatorial Guinea.
To mark this event, we have exchanged experiences with regards to the organisation of activities for 12th October. I also congratulated the people of Equatorial Guinea on their independence day, and we covered the organisation of activities”, concluded the diplomat Ton Chol Ho.
