PDGE General Secretary receives ambassadors from Cuba and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea

The General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, accompanied by his deputy, Jesusa Obono Engono, received on Monday 29th May in his office at the ministerial headquarters in Malabo, the ambassadors from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Tong Chol Ho, and the ambassador from Cuba, Rodobaldo RaA�l Isasi Herrera.

The new ambassador from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Tong Chol Ho, was the first to meet Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro. This courtesy audience took place following the presentation of credentials before the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

During the meeting, they reviewed the general development plan for relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Cuban ambassador, following the meeting, told the press about the aim of the meeting, which was the link uniting the political parties in the two countries in their exchange of cooperation.

With the new mandate, we believe continuity is possible, as the new ambassador, and the views of the Secretary are important to gain knowledge of the working process regarding the essential matters which dominate the national setting. We covered the commitments of our governments for this year, and the projects that we have been working on in recent years”, said the ambassador.
