The General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, arrived in the European capital on 5th November, with the aim of covering a long working agenda organised by the Embassy in Brussels.
During the first day of intense work, and accompanied by the Ambassador, Carmelo Nvono Nca, the General Secretary held important meetings at the European Parliament with Euro deputies from three member States: Spain, France and Portugal. Specifically, Jeronimo Osa Osa met Clara Eugenia Aguilera, from the Socialist Group; Jose Manuel Fernandes, from the European Popular Group, Enrique Calvet Chambon, from the Liberal Group, and Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar, from the Socialist Group.
In addition, the PDGE General Secretary wanted to see first hand one of the most relevant institutions in the operation of the European Union, the successes of the new policies of the Party, and progress in Equatorial Guinea, both with respect to the current economic situation, and the social and political panorama.
