Within the intense working mission in Brussels for the General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, in which a significant agenda of meetings has been organised with European institutions, there was a visit to the General Secretary of the Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP).
Following the recent opening in our country of the Group’s Headquarters for South-South and Triangular Cooperation, the only one in the world dedicated exclusively to this matter and the only headquarters of the ACP outside Europe, Jeronimo Osa wanted to meet the ACP General Secretary, Patrick I. Gomes, to personally thank the institution for its trust,
In that way, the PDGE General Secretary reaffirmed the commitment of Equatorial Guinea to this significant office, that will soon begin intense economic, trade, political and cultural partnership activities with other large powers from the south.
The meeting was an opportunity for the PDGE General Secretary to dissipate any misunderstanding that could confound the commitment of our country in respecting international agreements it has signed.
