Residents from zone f in Nzagayong gathered on 3rd November is the urban district of Oveng, to take part in a large demonstration condemning the rejecting the enemies of the constitutional regime of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and its President, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
In the presence of the President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Esangono, people from the area and other authorities from the district of Mongomo following the demonstration, walked the main streets of this new urban area, before gathering in the square. There, Guillermo Ndong Ntutumu Obono, an native of the urban district, read the manifesto of condemnation and rejection, which arose as a result of the frustrated attempt at the assassination of H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on the night of 24th December2017, carried out by some born in Mongomo: Martin Obiang Ondo and Bienvenido Ndong Ondo, among others, who contacted mercenary groups from South Sudan, Chad, and Central African Republic.
In recognition of the policy of peace, order and integrated development proposed by the President of the Republic for the country in general and in Oveng in particular, the natives of the area wanted to organise this event and renew their recognition, support and gratitude towards the Head of State, confirming and promising through this public act to maintain their faith and loyalty in his and PDGE policy, and to show more caution than ever against internal and external enemies.
The same message was read in the native language by Bernardino EdA� Oba, and the ceremony ended in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
