On January 9 the ticket prices for the upcoming CAN 2015 were made official, which can be obtained starting at 500 CFA francs (less than €1). The ceremony took place at a meeting chaired by the Secretary of State for the General State Treasury, Milagrosa Obono Angue, as head of the Economic and Financial Committee of the CAN 2015.
During the meeting, the prices of the matches for the different games of the country and various issues related to the most important football event on the African continent were provided.
The prices will be popular, setting the cheapest tickets at 500 CFA francs and the most expensive at 5,000 in the stadiums of Ebebiyin and Mongomo, while in Bata and Malabo the prices will begin at 1,000 and CFA francs and there will be tickets for 2,000, 3,000, 12,000 and 15,000 CFA francs in the VIP area.
The meeting they also discussed operating costs of the various committees, the provision of official vehicles that will work during the event and also presented control devices for tickets, bearing a special seal to prevent counterfeiting.
