Praise from Italy for the Vice-President of the Republic.

The Vice-President of the Republic, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, held an audience with the Italian Ambassador in which he promised to pardon two Italian citizens in prison in Equatorial Guinea.

Keeping his promise, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue obtained a pardon for the two Italian citizens, who are now free and are returning to their country.

The gesture was praised by Italian newspapers and, specifically, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Angelino Alfano, expressed his gratitude through his Twitter account.
