This week, the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Nca, in his capacity as agent in the case, oversaw the preparatory meeting for the latest hearing in the case between our country and France before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague.
The meeting was attended by the team of lawyers from Equatorial Guinea for the defence in the case, made up of Michael Wood, Jean-Charles Tchicaya, Alfredo Corsato, Omri Sender, and Alain-Guy Tachou-Sipowo.
Furthermore, a delegation from Equatorial Guinea, made up of the Deputy Minister for Justice, Juan Olo Mba, and the State attorney, Francisco Evuy Nguema, travelled to the European capital to be present at this important working session.
In the meeting, Nvono-Nca, as agent in the case, reaffirmed that Equatorial Guinea has sufficient reason to insist on full respect for its sovereignty.
