The General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, accompanied by his Deputy, Jesusa Obono Engono, met on Tuesday 20th June with the presidents of the PDGE district monitoring commissions from all over the country.
After opening the meeting in the name of the founder of this great mass movement, Brother Militant H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and handing out the Official Programme for the VI Ordinary National Congress to those present, Osa Osa Ecoro indicated two points to be dealt with at the meeting: the distribution of the programme and the plan for the congress. Furthermore, he asked those present to pass them both on throughout the national structures of the party.
After handing out the programme, the General Secretary pointed out to the brother militants the part they should play in the mass mobilisation, with respect to the programme which begins on Monday 3rd July. He also said that the city of Bata, as the host venue, has an open quota, and other capitals must organise their people, through invited militants.
The presentation of lists with the number of guests and the identification of congressmen and congresswomen were two of the other matters looked at.
