Presentation meeting of the new Deputy Secretaries

The headquarters of the PDGE in Malabo was the scene of the momentous meeting held on the morning of Friday, April 3, to officially present the new Deputy Secretaries of the party. Other issues, such as the peaceful demonstration to take place in the coming days, were also discussed.

The Secretary General of the PDGE, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, addressed the participants of this important meeting to officially present the two new deputy general secretaries who swore in their new position, and these days have begun their work at the National Office: Jesusa Obono Engono Nchama as new First Deputy Secretary General for the Organization of Women, International Relations and Heritage of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, and Fortunato Ofa Mbo Nchama as the Second Deputy Secretary General for Administrative Affairs, Institutional Relations and Internal Regime of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea.

After the official presentation of the new Deputy Secretaries, Osa Osa Ecoro also informed the attendees of the peaceful demonstration that will take place in the coming days, as a rejection of the violence caused by some academics who want to contradict the true reality currently being experienced in Equatorial Guinea, as he himself said.

Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro took the opportunity to appeal to the youth of the country, so they are not misled with false hopes and lies by anyone; also, so they remain vigilant and can protect the environment of peace that is currently experienced in Equatorial Guinea, because, as he recalled, acts of violence could destabilize the good atmosphere and harmony that exists in our State.

At the meeting, the Secretary General also accused certain tabloids, especially on the internet, of publishing false news, which are totally unfounded and lack reality, and are not supported by any evidence or documentation.

Meanwhile, Jesusa Obono invited all the women attendees to support the structures of the PDGE, and work to support the dynamism of the party.
