Presentation of credentials before Foreign Minister

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono, received on the afternoon of 10th July, in the audience room at the ministry, various ambassadors who for the first time presented their credentials before the minister, before doing the same before the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

The Ambassador from the Arab Emirates, Ahmed Nasir Abdel Rahim Mohamed Alkayeh, was the first to present his credentials before the head of Equatoguinean diplomacy. During the meeting, the two figures reviewed the state of bilateral relations between the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the Arab Emirates.

Following the audience, the ambassador signed the visitors’ book at the ministry.

The current resident Representative of the United nations Development Programme, Marie Elsie Laurence Chounoune, also presented her credentials before Oyono Esono Angue.

The final diplomat to present credentials was the Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Waqar Ahmad Kingravi.
