On 11th July, a total of five ambassadors presented their credentials before the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. On the esplanade of the People’s Palace in Malabo, they were receives with military honours by the Director general for State Ceremonies, Juan Francisco Ebendeng Ango.
On arrival, the ambassadors were accompanied into the presidential palace by the Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic, Head of State Protocol, Teodoro Biyogo Nsue Okomo.
The ambassadors were from Venezuela, Nelson Javier Ortega Bonilla; from the People’s Republic of China,, Qi Mei; from the Republic of Sudan, Ibrahin Hussein Hassan; from the Arab Emirates, Ahmed Nasir Abdel Rahim Mohamed Alkayeh, and finally from Pakistan, Waqar Ahmad Kingravi.
After greeting authorities from the Head of State’s Office present at the ceremony which took place in the Ambassadors Room, the diplomats held separate meetings to exchange first impressions with the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo; conversations which focussed on the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation that the Government of our country maintains with their respective governments.
The signing of the visitors’ book at the Presidency by the five ambassadors and a farewell marked the final acts which concluded with military honours in the presidential compound.
