On 17th August, three new ambassadors were received by the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, at the People’s Palace in Malabo. Toko Alli Gongulong, from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Esther Daifa Ofori, from the Republic of Ghana, and A�ngela Dos Santos Ramos Jose Da Costa Pinheiro, from the Democratic Republic of SAPound o Tome and Principe, presented their credentials.
The act of presentation was attended by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy, together with various advisers and other figures from the Head of State’s Office. The diplomatic relations maintained by Malabo with Lagos, Accra and Principe were one of the matters covered at the meeting.
The ceremony closed with the signing of the visitors’ book at the Head of State’s Office, and a playing of the national anthem.
