Presentation of funds offered by Vice-president to students resident in China

On Monday 4th March, representatives of students resident in the various provinces and cities of the People’s Republic of China gathered at the Equatorial Guinea Embassy on Beijing to receive the funds offered by the Vice-president of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, during his private visit to China.

The funds, which were given out in the presence of the Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary plenipotentiary Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, German Ekua Sima Abaga, will help them to cover some needs, according to the students.

The Ambassador, for his part, made the students see that they were the future of the country, and encouraged them to complete their respective courses with exemplary behaviour in the country where they were studying, in order to return to Equatorial Guinea and contribute towards its development.

Along the same lines, Ekua Sima declared that the wish of the Vice-President was always to support Equatoguineans in general, and students in particular.
