The Government Delegate in Bata, Antonio Nsue Ondo Oye, in his capacity as regional inspector of all services, oversaw the start of the act to hand over offices between the incoming and outgoing mayors and deputies in the district.
The act took place at Bata Central Town Hall, where the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth outgoing deputy mayors handed over the keys to the new post-holders for the municipal corporation of this capital city.
After the ceremony, Nsue Ondo Oye, assisted by the deputy Government delegates, continued with the same act in urban districts numbers one, four and five in Bata, with the mayors.
During these meetings, the outgoing mayors and deputies wished their successors luck in their new positions in charge of the town halls in the district, while those recently appointed promised to continue with the same work carried out by their colleagues, in support of the ideas of the corporations, aimed at improving the city, and to work in unison with personnel from these municipalities.
For his part, the regional inspector of services praised the good work carried out by the ex mayors and deputies during the three years of their terms of office.
