The Head of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the Regional Delegation of Bata, Francisco Javier Ndong Monsuy, received in audience on April 28 the Extraordinary Ambassador and Plenipotentiary of the United States, Mark L. Asquino, who was accompanied by the new consul, Mathew C. Lamm.
The reason for the visit of the US diplomat was the presentation of the consular officer in the mainland, Mathew C. Lamm, before consular officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, in the city of Bata.
The audience was held in a climate of fraternity, and the American diplomats invited Francisco Javier Ndong Monsuy to visit the new headquarters of the US Embassy in Malabo.
At the meeting they discussed issues of bilateral interest and the Equatorial Guinean side wished a happy stay to the new consul.
The Extraordinary Ambassador and Plenipotentiary of the United States, Mark L. Asquino, gave thanks for the reception they received, and congratulated the members of the regional delegation for the infrastructure that the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea is carrying out throughout the country.
During the audience, Francisco Javier Ndong Monsuy was accompanied by other members of the delegation.
