On Sunday 21st April, the presidential couple, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, attended the Mass of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The celebration took place at the parish church of San Antonio Abad in Moka, and mass was said by the priest Heriberto Ekube Bengo. Through this mass, the Universal Catholic Church and the Church in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in particular bring to a close to the Easter Triduum.
The mass was attended by all provincial, district and municipal authorities from Luba, and the Christian town of Moka.
During the mass, three children received their first communion. In the final blessing, father Ekube Bengo reminded the faithful that the life of Jesus shows the way that Christian people should follow.
