The Minister for Foreign Affairs from the Republic of Chad, Serif Mahamat Zene, bearing a written message from the Chadian Head of State, H. E. Idriss Deby Itno, was received in audience on 3rd January by the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
In conversation with the media, the emissary from the current acting President of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC). declared that the contents of the message that he took to the Equatoguinean leader was concerning the search for a solution to the attempts at destabilisation that certain uncontrolled individuals had carried out against the Malabo regime. He also clarified that these mercenary attempts concerned all the member countries of the CEMAC subregion.
