On Monday 15th of May, and at the invitation of national authorities, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted an audience to the new director general of the Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (ASAECNA), Moussa Mohamed.
The meeting focussed on the services that ASENCA is providing for our country, collaborating with the Government in order to improve aerial navigation in Equatorial Guinea. The Republic of Equatorial Guinea is not now on the blacklist of countries not meeting regulations for aeronautical services on the continent and in the world, thanks to the government’s management in recent years.
The director of ASECNA received congratulations from the Head of State for his election in 2016 as leader of the institution. Furthermore, the Equatoguinean President gave advice regarding the fair administration of the LA agency, created in 1959.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister for Civil Aviation, Fausto Abeso Fuma.
