On 26th February, the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, received Fred Constant, the accredited Extraordinary plenipotentiary Ambassador to our country, in his office at the People’s palace in Malabo.
In the presence of the Deputy Minister for foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Bonifacio Mitogo, the Head of State and his opposite number spoke about matters related to the strengthening of the relations of friendship and cooperation between their two nations.
In this context, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Fred Constant spoke about the inauguration, in the near future, of a military academy in the continental part of the country, and the official opening of French Language and Francophonie Week.
The French diplomat, in addition to congratulating the Head of State for Equatorial Guinea’s presidency of the United Nations Security Council, which ends on 28th of this month, also spoke about the presentation of the Franco-German Prize for Human Rights and the Rule of Law.
