The Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted an audience on 23rd April to a delegation from the Republic of Nicaragua, led by Valdrack Jaentschke, Vice-Minister for Foreign Relations and Special Envoy from H. E. Daniel Ortega Saavedra, President of this Latin American country.
During the meeting held at the People’s Palace in Malabo, the Head of State received from the Envoy a message sent by his Nicaraguan counterpart. The contents, among other things, referred to the wish to continue to consolidate the multilateral relations that have always existed between our country and Latin America.
They also spoke of the need to continue to work in close collaboration in South-South Cooperation, in order to improve the lives of their people.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono Angue, accompanied H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo at the meeting with the Nicaraguan politician.
