President meets General Secretary of International Federation for Human Rights

On 24th April, at the People’s Palace in Malabo, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, received in audience Paul Nsapu Mokulu, the General Secretary of the International Federation for Human Rights and president of the League of Electors.

The meeting served as an occasion for the two figures to exchange impressions on the matters raised at the International Conference on Human Rights and Civil Society, recently held for the first time in Equatorial Guinea.

During the audience, which was also attended by the Third Vice Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Human Rights, Alfonso Nsue Mokuy, the General Secretary of the International Federation for Human Rights presented the Equatoguinean Head of State with the final report on activities which took place during the event, which was held in the country over three days.
