President of Democratic Republic of Congo returns to his country

H. E. Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, returned on the morning of Wednesday 12th June to Kinshasa, capital of the African country, after his two-day stay on Equatoguinean soil, where he attended in the city of Sipopo the 54th African Development Bank (AfDB) Annual Assembly, which began on 11th June.

At Malabo International Airport, the Congolese leader spoke to the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, who was there to see off H. E. Felix Tshisekedi, in representation of the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Felix Tshisekedi was invested as President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the largest country in sub-Saharan Africa, on 24th January 2019, replacing Joseph Kabila.

When leaving Malabo airport, Feliz Tshisekedi was accompanied to the plane by the Prime Minister.

During this act of farewell, the Prime Minister was accompanied by the ministers for National Defence, Alejandro Bakale Ncogo, and Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono, respectively.
