President of Senate holds audience with president of CICTE

The President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Asangono, granted an audience on 28th March to the president of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Equatorial Guinea (CICTE), Anacleto Olo Mibuy, with whom she covered matters of social interest.

Efua Asangono held a first courtesy meeting with Olo Mibuy, with whom she spoke about juvenile delinquency, the wave of rapes of minors, and gender violence, among other issues.

The two agreed on the need for institutional collaboration in order to seek solutions to the social problems identified in the country, once their causes are known, which would allow legislative institutions, such as the Senate, to draw up the corresponding laws, based on scientific and technological research.
