The Japanese government organises the Seventh International Conference on African Development (TICAD). The Republic of Equatorial Guinea is among the invited nations.
On 24 August, the Head of State, S.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the First Lady, DoAa Constancia Mangue de Obiang, visited the Asian country and lead an official delegation that will take part in this Seventh International Conference for which work commences on 27 August with the meeting of ministers.
The meeting with the Heads of State and the TICAD Administration takes place over the 28, 29 and 30 August in the city of Yekhoawana.
Minister of State for National Security, Nicolas Obama Nchama, Minister of National Defence, Alejandro Bacale Ncogo, Vice-Minister, Victoriano Bibang, and the Secretary of State for National Defence wished the presidential couple a safe trip in the terminal of honour at Malabo airport.
