The Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted five diplomatic audiences on Friday 18th August, at the People’s Palace in Malabo.
The first to speak to the President of the Republic in his official office was the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs from India, M. J. Akbar, who was leading the delegation from this Asian country which is visiting our country.
During the meeting, which took place in the presence of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Agapito Mba Mokuy, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Akbar spoke about strengthening the diplomatic relations uniting the two nations, and the signing of agreements in various sectors.
The second audience was with the president of the company Total in Africa, Stanislas Mittelman, in the presence of the Deputy Minister for the Presidency, Charged with Foreign Security, Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma. At this meeting they exchanged impressions with respect to the activities of Total in our country since 1980. It was the first distributor of fuel in Equatorial Guinea, with a network of 27 service stations.
