President receives Ambassador from Cameroon

On 17th January, the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, received in audience the accredited Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador from the Republic of Cameroon to our country, Lazare Mpouel Bala.

The aim of the meeting, which took place in the presence of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono Angue, was to discuss several bilateral matters.

As countries united by excellent diplomatic ties, the Cameroonian Ambassador thanked the Head of State for the meeting, the first of 2019, and congratulated the leader of the nation and the Equatoguinean people for the traditional festivities of Christmas and New Year.

At another point during the conversations, Mpouel Bala also indicated that he had left the people’s Palace in Malabo with a message from H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo for his Cameroonian counterpart, H. E. Paul Biya.
